Loved aquarium #26. SOLD? Best of luck. I am a child of the 70's and dig your groove man!

I love your use of color and the way your paintings mimic abstract art. It looks like something you could see on an urban mural in Southern California or decorating the walls of a seafood restaurant in Florida or the Caribbean. We need more artists that make us feel good about life and the planet.

Hi John, I put my remarks on Bravo's discussion board then realized you might not see it. Here is a paste: John, I enjoyed viewing your art. I loved the use of color and the movement you brought to each piece. If I had money, I probably would have bought one. The only good thing about this show for you might be exposure. Other than that (judging by what we've seen so far) I can't see where you would benefit. If you do make it on the show, just be sure not to be smarter than the judges a la Tron. Good luck!

Hi John. Just found your site from your post on Bravo's "Work of Art" message board. Your work is lovely; it reminds me of several painters in some respects... a dab of Kandinsky, a touch of Monet, a soupcon of Chagall and, of course, you mentioned Cezanne's influence. Ironically, I am not a fan of fish (either in art or in food, haha), but find your work intriguing, calming and I love all the colour! I am also an artist (mostly colourful pop art paintings) and I live in Vancouver, B.C., Canada (in case you couldn't tell by the "u"s I put in "colour".) ;-) Best wishes and good luck should you audition for Season 2. ~Patricia
